Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using K-Pop Bias Battle ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

K-Pop Bias Battle is an entertainment app that lets fans rank K-Pop idols and groups into personal tier lists, take personality quizzes that match them to idols, and explore idol profiles. The app is for entertainment purposes only. Rankings, personality matches, and compatibility scores are subjective, fan-driven results based on user input and publicly stated personality types. Nothing in the app should be taken as an endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with any artist, agency, or label.

Idol Information and Likenesses

The app references publicly known K-Pop artist names, group affiliations, debut years, positions, generation labels, and publicly stated MBTI types as fan-curated metadata. Photos used inside the app are sourced from third parties (Wikimedia Commons and similar public sources) and are used for fan-identification purposes. We do not claim ownership of any artist's name, image, likeness, or trademarks, and we are not affiliated with any artist, agency, or label. If you are a rights holder and wish to request removal of a photo or piece of information, contact us using the email below.

Personality and Compatibility Disclaimer

The "Bias DNA" personality quiz, "idol twin" matches, compatibility percentages, and any related personality readouts are entertainment features. They are not validated psychological assessments and should not be used to make personal, relational, or professional decisions. We make no representations about the accuracy of personality types attributed to any public figure inside the app.

Subscriptions

K-Pop Bias Battle offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("Bias+") in monthly and yearly billing periods, and a one-time lifetime purchase option. By purchasing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Recurring subscriptions (monthly, yearly) automatically renew at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered on the yearly plan, it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing transaction that grants access to subscription-only features for as long as the app remains supported and installed.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. Visit Apple Support to request a refund.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Abuse, automate, or attempt to overload any backend or third-party service relied on by the app
• Use exported tier lists, screenshots, or shareable cards in a way that infringes on artist, agency, or photographer intellectual property
• Use the app to harass, defame, or threaten any artist, fan, or third party

User Content

Tier lists, personality results, photocards, share images, and any other in-app outputs are generated locally on your device based on your taps, swipes, and quiz answers. You may share these outputs publicly at your discretion. You are responsible for how you share or caption that content. Photos of K-Pop artists used in those exports remain owned by their respective photographers and rights holders.

Intellectual Property

All app code, design, copy, ranking logic, personality engine, share-card layouts, and original branding (including the "K-Pop Bias Battle" and "Bias+" names) are the property of Anthony Calise. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or its content without written permission. Artist names, group names, logos, and trademarks referenced in the app remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services to operate, including (but not limited to) Apple App Store / StoreKit, RevenueCat (subscription management), AppsFlyer (attribution), Google AdMob (ads for non-subscribed users), and ATT (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their respective terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each service receives.

Advertising

Free users may see in-app banner and interstitial advertising provided by Google AdMob. We do not control advertiser creative beyond standard category-level filtering, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. Bias+ subscribers do not see in-app ads.

Limitation of Liability

K-Pop Bias Battle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate idol information, personality-quiz results, lost tier list data, ad content, service interruptions, or social consequences of sharing in-app outputs. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the developer resides.
