By downloading, installing, or using FiberUp ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
FiberUp is a fiber tracking app that lets you log foods, scan barcodes on packaged foods, and optionally scan meals with AI to estimate their fiber content. It provides progress tracking, charts, a fiber-source diversity score, streaks, widgets, and reminders.
FiberUp is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Fiber goals, food data, and recommendations are general estimates and are not tailored to your individual health needs. FiberUp is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a digestive disorder.
Fiber values come from public nutrition databases (including USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) and, for AI meal scanning, from automated food identification and portion estimation. AI-estimated foods, portions, and fiber amounts are best-effort and may contain errors. Photographs cannot reliably determine hidden ingredients, preparation methods, or exact portion sizes. Always review and adjust scanned results, and do not rely on the app for precise nutritional intake.
FiberUp offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("FiberUp AI") that unlocks AI meal scanning and removes ads. The subscription is offered as a weekly plan ($2.99 per week) and a yearly plan ($29.99 per year, including a 7-day free trial). Everything else in FiberUp is free. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
FiberUp also offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. This is a non-consumable purchase that remains active on the device and Apple ID it was purchased with and can be restored. One-time purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or by Apple's refund policy.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. Visit Apple Support to request a refund.
You agree not to:
Photos you take for AI meal scanning are processed by our backend and Google Gemini as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to photos you take, and we do not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture any photo you scan.
All content, design, code, and branding in FiberUp are the property of Anthony Calise. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content without written permission.
FiberUp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate food or fiber information, health outcomes, dietary issues, data loss, or service interruptions. Your use of the app and reliance on its content is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the developer resides.
